About the role
Tensley Consulting is seeking a Training Course Developer-Instructor (Technical PROFORMA) to support the development and delivery of specialized training focused on technical PROFORMA signals analysis (PSA). This role is responsible for designing and instructing course content centered on the analysis of machine-generated, formatted data communications across a wide range of systems, including military C4ISR, as well as civil, industrial, commercial, and personal applications. The Developer-Instructor will translate complex PSA concepts into structured training material, support mission-aligned instruction, and ensure course content remains accurate, relevant, and effective for Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders.
education / experience
Two (2) or more years of experience in technical instruction and/or curriculum development (military, academic, industry classroom, or OJT instruction) is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or related field) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of technical PROFORMA / PSA experience within the last ten (10) years. Four (4) additional years of technical PSA experience (total of eight (8) years) may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Experience developing and delivering technical training related to PROFORMA signals analysis (PSA) Experience analyzing machine-generated, formatted data communications across C4ISR or similar systems Experience working with data derived from sensors and/or control systems Experience translating complex technical analysis into structured training material Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or similar mission environments Experience maintaining and updating technical course content based on feedback and evolving requirements Experience communicating complex technical concepts clearly in both written and instructional formats Experience supporting curriculum development in technical or intelligence-focused domains
Desired Skills Experience supporting military or Intelligence Community (IC) programs Familiarity with C4ISR systems and architectures Experience working with signals analysis, data communications, or telemetry-related disciplines Experience in mission-focused training environments or operational support roles Background in engineering, data analysis, or technical intelligence disciplines

Compensation
Posted Annualized Salary: $100,000 – $140,000
