About the role

PLEX Solutions, LLC is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support a program in the Columbia, MD area.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive verification strategies, including formal methods for complex FPGA designs in high-assurance applications.
This role will develop UVM-based verification environments, create and execute formal verification test plans, implement formal property verification and equivalence checking, and develop coverage driven verification methodologies.
Key responsibilities include: creating automated test frameworks, applying formal methods for security-critical design blocks, and collaborating with RTL developers to ensure design quality. PLEX is a proud EOE Employer including veteran/disabled.

A Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer is required.
A minimum of 7 or more years of FPGA verification experience is required.
Expert knowledge of System Verilog and UVM, as well as demonstrated experience with formal verification tools and assertion-based verification
Active Secret clearance or higher is required. SALARY RANGE: $200K – $250K Salary offered will depend on numerous qualifying factors such as clearance, degree, and the years and depth of applicable experience. Desired Skills

Experience with JasperGold or similar formal tools, knowledge of security protocols and formal proofs is desired.
System Verilog Assertions (SVA) and background in mathematical logic and proof systems are also desired.

Posted Annualized Salary: $200,000 – $250,000
