About the role
PLEX Solutions, LLC is seeking Lead Technical System Engineer to support a contract in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This is a hybrid role and will allow for 2 days per week remote work. PLEX is a proud EOE Employer, including disability/vets.
Qualifications
- Hybrid role, and requires 3 days a week in office and up to 2 days a week remote work.
- At least five years of experience performing in a Lead System Engineer role for a software development team
- Familiarity with software development using Unix/Linux, Java or Java Spring frameworks, RESTful micro-services (Spring Boot), and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
- Working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
- Acting as liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
- Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. SALARY RANGE: $85k - $210k Salary offered will depend on numerous qualifying factors such as clearance, degree and the years and depth of applicable experience.
