Software development experience with a concentration in at least one of our favorites: Java, AAP.NET (I know, people still use it!), Node.JS, Ruby, Python. You'll be familiar with agile practices and have a technical background. You're comfortable discussing detailed technical aspects of system design and implementation. You have an expansive toolkit of developer techniques to enable a deep understanding of technical concepts. In addition, you will have exposure to mission systems or mission knowledge.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigating problem areas
- Work with outside data sources and APIs ( you sleep in JSON )
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
