About the role

The AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation. You'll be a great communicator and be able to translate your technical knowledge into an actionable direction. When you don’t have an answer, you know how to research the problem and come up with a solution. You'll have an expansive toolkit of techniques to enable a shared, deep understanding of technical concepts by diverse stakeholders with varying backgrounds and needs. In addition, you will have exposure to mission systems or mission knowledge.
Engineer an end-to-end cloud architecture that directly supports mission objectives
Optimize system operations and resource utilization. Perform system capacity analysis and planning. Conduct operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of cloud resources
Provide support for the escalation and communication of system readiness to Agency management and internal customers
Qualifications
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. Individuals without an existing clearance cannot be accepted
DevOps experience with a concentration in at least one of our favorite cloud technologies: VMware, Open Stack (MACHINESHOP), AWS (C2S), Azure
