In this role, you will be the bridge between robust python software development and automated cloud infrastructure. From deriving high-level technical requirements to containerizing applications and collaborating across multi-team project horizons, your work will ensure system stability and resilience at scale. The annual base salary range for this role is $186,000-$220,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Qualifications
- Core Software Engineering: Solid programming experience with Python along with a strong background deriving software requirements.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven, hands-on experience provisioning and managing resources using Terraform.
- Containerization Frameworks: Practical experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) or AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS).
- Cloud Deployment: Direct experience deploying secure, cloud-native applications within an AWS ecosystem.
- Collaboration & Process: Strong Agile lifecycle experience coupled with a track record of successfully collaborating on multi-team software projects. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field) preferred, or equivalent professional experience with 14 years of experience, or 18 years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills
- Experience establishing or optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Background designing and deploying complex, full-scale AWS architecture.
- Familiarity with enhancing cloud stability, resilience, and automated failover strategies.
