Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is $153,000 - $181,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Qualifications

  • Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly
  • **Compliance Certification: **Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II baseline certification is mandatory (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP).
  • **Linux Administration: **Deep hands-on experience handling enterprise Linux configuration, deployment, system patching, monitoring, and command-line troubleshooting.
  • **Infrastructure Automation: **Proven experience designing, debugging, and executing infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in a tight-knit team environment and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • **Collaborative Troubleshooting: **Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively isolate system issues across diverse technical groups and service owners.

** Education & Experience **

  • **Experience: **Minimum of ten (10) years of professional Systems Administration (SA) experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Substitution: Five (5) years of additional systems administration experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 15 years of experience).

Desired Skills

  • Practical knowledge of Cloud Service Provider environments, with a specific focus on AWS ecosystem offerings.
  • Hands-on experience engineering cloud scaling models, such as AWS EC2 Auto Scaling.
  • Familiarity interacting with cloud resources via the command line and SDKs using aws-cli and boto3.
  • Proactive motivation to continuously learn, test, and adopt emerging infrastructure technologies.
