In this role, you will bridge the gap between robust software development and scalable cloud infrastructure. From writing efficient pipeline code to managing secure distributed databases and deploying infrastructure as code, your contributions will ensure our mission systems run smoothly and efficiently. The annual base salary range for this role is $186,000-$220,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Qualifications

• Core Software Development: Strong, hands-on development experience using Java and Python to build scalable applications and data pipelines.
• Big Data Ecosystems: Deep technical experience working with Hadoop frameworks for distributed storage and processing.
• NoSQL Database Management: Proven experience writing and optimizing data layers with Accumulo.
• Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Direct experience developing within AWS cloud environments combined with provisioning infrastructure via Terraform. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field) preferred, or equivalent professional experience with 14 years of experience, or 18 years of relevant experience.
