Responsibilities

Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Principal CNO Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

  • You will be supporting CNO development across many development groups by designing, developing, and integrating tools to assist in development activities.
  • Having a deep understanding of the customer's mission, dataflow, and tooling is critical to this position.
  • You will be expected to provide guidance and vision as you work with mission stakeholders and software engineers to specify, develop, integrate, and test new workflows aided by AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including; problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
  • Overcome inevitable obstacles.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Professional/Education experience: 12 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Required Skills:

  • Production-grade software development experience in Python.
  • Experience within the CNO developer domain developing tools for operational use.
  • Experience with development of AI systems and customizing of AI models/
  • Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
  • Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
  • Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working as a lead for a development team.
  • Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs and LLM Training).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with web application/UI development.

Compensation

Posted Annualized Salary: $200,000 – $280,000
