- Long term job security GliaCell is seeking a **Principal CNO Software Engineer **on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
- You will be supporting CNO development across many development groups by designing, developing, and integrating tools to assist in development activities.
- Having a deep understanding of the customer's mission, dataflow, and tooling is critical to this position.
- You will be expected to provide guidance and vision as you work with mission stakeholders and software engineers to specify, develop, integrate, and test new workflows aided by AI/ML technologies. **Responsibilities: **
- Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including; problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
- Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
- Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
- Overcome inevitable obstacles. Key Requirements:
- ** Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. **
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Professional/Education experience: 12 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.
- Strong communication skills. Required Skills:
- Production-grade software development experience in Python.
- Experience within the CNO developer domain developing tools for operational use.
- Experience with development of AI systems and customizing of AI models/
- Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
- Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
- Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages Desired Skills:
- Experience working as a lead for a development team.
- Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs and LLM Training).
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with web application/UI development. **Location: **Annapolis Junction, MD (onsite full time)
