• Long term job security GliaCell is seeking a ** Mid-Level Systems Engineer  **on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. Description:
• The Data Modeling team is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats.
• This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.  Key Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with database design and modeling
• Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
• Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
• Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security  Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of existing BM&A systems Location: Columbia, MD Salary Range:  The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.
