Qualifications

You Have:

• 14+ year of experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator on contracts and programs of similiar scope
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting a wide array of COTS/GOTS software, packages, and libraries in a mostly Linux environment with some Windows
• Experience with maintaining security posture for the SSP. This includes mitigating IAVAs, managing POAMs, and navigating customer STE/STN compliance tools
• Experience managing virtualized environments using VMware ESXi and oversee the configuration of various storage components
• Experience with hands-on management of Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco Firepower firewalls, including VPN configuration and enclave isolation
• Experience with modernizing operations by primarily using Ansible for configuration management and deployment
• Experience performing the sanitization of hardware, firmware, and software removed from the environment in strict accordance with customer policies
• Experience with issue resolution through hands-on troubleshooting, and discrepancy tracking, using Jira and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree Nice if You Have:
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages including Python
• Knowledge of customer SSP accreditation processes and the lifecycle of security
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance: Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81.74 to $96.16 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees
