Responsibilities

Orchestrates the development of a system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications

**You Have: **

• 15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience administering Linux and Windows systems, managing virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, or similar), and software platforms (Splunk)
• Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Experience optimizing system operations and performing system capacity analysis and planning
• Ability to provide Tiers 1 & 2 support
• Knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of experience with systems administration or a HS Diploma and 20 years of experience with systems administration Clearance: Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65.00 to $100.96 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
