About the role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining development, testing, and production environments to support mission success. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and improve deployment efficiency. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality software solutions while maintaining a robust infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize code deployment and application performance.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Automate operational processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Work with security teams to enforce best practices and ensure compliance across environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation. Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or similar discipline)
- Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
