About the role

As an Exploitation Analyst (EA) within Accolade’s Next Generation Analysts portfolio, you will support mission-critical Intelligence Community operations by identifying, analyzing, and helping mitigate cyber threats across complex digital environments. In this role, EAs apply technical expertise, analytic tradecraft, and knowledge of vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and cybersecurity trends to strengthen mission outcomes and protect critical systems. The Next Generation Analysts portfolio supports a diverse customer set across the Intelligence Community and the broader national cyber operations enterprise. This range of mission partners gives analysts the opportunity to apply their expertise across a wide variety of technical challenges, operational environments, and mission priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your deep understanding of adversary networks, network defenses, and cyber network operational capabilities to develop exploitation plans and make operational adjustments as plans are executed.
  • Be part of a team, working together with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise.
  • Distill, document, contextualize and share your findings--including any new tradecraft that you develop--with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis. In addition, it may also include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
  • Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement (i.e., 24-week JCAC course will count as 6 months of experience).
  • In some cases, foreign language proficiency may also be used to satisfy experience requirements; recent Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scores are required to substantiate your proficiency level.
  • Level 1: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Level 2: Doctoral degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Level 3: Doctoral degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Level 4: Doctoral degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 13+ years of experience
